on below the camp was cool mountain water, but formed pools here and there between banks of brightly colored flowers. This stream had wild pink petunias growing around it.

The riders fixed themselves some lunch and then began to really enjoy relaxing. They knew some lunch and then began to really enjoy relazing. They knew that Berry Patch was within reach and most imoportantly that everyone had made it safely. Debie laid down in the sun to take a nap and even though Dena thought it was a good idea and laid down too, there was too much noise to succeed. As Kesi, Pam, and Kiki were finishing lunch, camp robbers moved in and were soon fed crackers and anything else that could be found in the saddle packs.

Later Dena and Kiki discovered that some of the pools in the stream that were large enough to bathe in. After crossing the desert of Cispus Pass earlier, it felt good to clean the dust off. The stream was made of boulders that appeared no where else in the meadow, that surrounded the pools like the rim of a bath tub. The pools were even narrow and long, shaped like a bath tub.
