Pam was a little hesitant to enter the water, but Kiki lent a helping pull until her desire to cool down won over. They all paddled around in the water for a couple hours. Debie put a flower in her hair and made funny noises when she entered the water. that set off some scary thoughts of marsh monsters, which ended in a splashing water fight.

There was no fresh water feeding the lake, so Dena on Critter, Pam on Britt, and Kiki on April (all riding bareback) went back to Killen Creek for cooking and drinking water. Most of the people camping in the trees turned out to be Boy Scouts on a 100 mile hike. The Scout leader mistook the riders as some sort of youth group, but Kiki informed him that they were all just friends.

Kesi and Debie started dinner while waiting for the others. Their creation, two packages of cheese mixed with three packages of noodles, left a very bland macaroni and cheese with Vienna sausages. Kesi and Kiki then tried repeating the burned popcorn trick that Pam and Dena had accomplished the night before, they too were successful (in burning it).
